Emulators and roms.

Well, here is how you do it. you will need a emulator( a code decoder/ program to run roms, to decode the roms (or game code) just like you use Microsoft Word to decode Word docs. go to emulator-zone.com and you download the emulator you need .( like NES for NES games, and N64 for N64 games)K, know, you go to romulation.net ( since they have no viruses, but be aware some people do put viruses on there websites, and in there files, so be aware) and look for the roms( the game codes/games for the emulator) under there original system ( again like Atari) and download them. After they are done downloading, open up the emulator, then open the game you downloaded from the site in the emulator. Then that should be all. Happy emulating

Notes: not all roms are legal, but Oddessy-Dreamcast are, but newer ones are not. And besides, a lot of the newer roms cannot be run by the newer emulators, and besides, the only place you can find them in are the P2p sites, which are crawling with viruses. So download from (just suggestions) : romulation.net, theoldcomuter.com (lots of old computer games, and system games), and get-your-roms.com( lots of cool MP3's). But there is a few more things. Winrar, which I talked about in the "Pirate's Tool Belt" article, is use to compressed files, especially roms.It is used to open up the .rar files which contains the actual roms. And you sometime need different plug-ins, such as sound, video, or bios which you can get at the emuparadise.org. And while the roms might be legal under the DMC, the bios may not be. So approach with caution. Here is a list of emulators:

-Nulldc(Dreamcast)
-MameUI32(arcade)
-Stella(Atari)
-NO$GBA(GBA/DS)
-Fusion( several Sega systems)
-Gens32 Surreal (several Sega systems)
-Project64(N64)
-FCEUX(NES)
-PCSX(Playstation)
-Yabause(Saturn)
-Zsnesw(SNES)
and there are many more to choose from.
